Our farm is designed for boarders. We keep the number of horses small so we can provide individualized care for your equine companion. Full board includes a matted box stall bedded with low dust pellets. Comfortable paddocks with sheds provide daily turnout areas.
There are two "grain" meals a day, which can be customized to your horse's needs. Some horses here simply have beet pulp with supplements while others select from a menu of feeds including senior to low carb formulas.
Our hay is a locally grown mix of orchard grass and timothy. We also maintain a supply of second cut hay for those horses who are hard keepers. Hay is fed four times a day, two main meals, a light lunch, and ten p.m. snack during the nightly check.
During grass season, horses are carefully accustomed to pasture.
Our deworming program checks each horse's fecal sample so we know exactly what dewormers to use. In the summer months, we use fly predators to keep the stable fly population down.
